After the EU enlargement, Denmark is suddenly situated at the centre of one of the world’s largest economies. That gives us some fantastic prospects, but also quite a few challenges.

As an example, new requirements for harmonisation of financial statements and methods of accounting are on their way. Requirements which will affect both the environment and social and ethical standards. These are areas in which Danish companies are traditionally far ahead and may profit in future due to their competitive advantage.
